DUBAI – Taking place on May 17, the DXB Snow Run at Ski Dubai returns for its seventh edition, offering a rare opportunity to run in a -4°C indoor environment.

Organised in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, the event is themed ‘Growing in Unity’ as part of the UAE’s Year of Family.

Designed for runners of varying fitness levels, the race welcomes participants aged 13 to 70 and above.

Register first

To take part, participants must register online via PremierOnline before the May 14 deadline. Entry fees are structured by category, with the 3km individual race priced at Dh120 and the 5km option at Dh150. Those opting for group participation can register as a team of five, with each member paying Dh110.

Pick category

Runners can choose between two distances based on their preference and endurance level.

The 3km race consists of three loops, while the 5km category includes five loops within the indoor snow park. Participants may compete individually or join a team, competing collectively against other groups.

Race day

On the day of the event, runners will experience a controlled sub-zero climate, making appropriate clothing essential. Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal, while the top three in every category will be awarded prizes. A spectator pass is also available for Dh50, allowing family and friends to watch from a designated area and enjoy a complimentary hot beverage.

Building on last year’s turnout of 700 participants from 70 nationalities, the event continues to bring together communities through a shared sporting experience in one of Dubai’s most distinctive venues.
